2017 Art Showcase

2017 Art Showcase Banner

Displaying student artwork throughout the Frederick County Public Schools Administration Building has been a tradition for nearly three decades. For visitors as well as those of us who come to work in these offices each day, works of student art serve as a reminder that Frederick County Public Schools is focused first and foremost on our students. It also clearly demonstrates our commitment to, and respect for, the arts as an integral part of student learning.

Virginia School Boards Association

VSBA logoEach year, the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) solicits artwork from schools across the Commonwealth for participation in its spring art contest. Art teachers from all Frederick County Public Schools submit one piece of student art for the contest, and then vote to select three winners that are sent to the regional VSBA contest. The three pieces of artwork below were the three pieces sent for the 2017 contest. Congratulations!
