The division improvement team, working collaboratively with school and division leadership, established measurable student learning goals for the students of Frederick County Public Schools. Each school has established strategies and practices that will move our students, our schools, and the division, toward these goals.
By June 2020:
- 95% of students in grades K-12 are reading and writing at or above grade level, and all students demonstrate growth
- 95% of students in grades K-12 demonstrate mastery of grade-level mathematics standards, and all students demonstrate growth
- 100% of students demonstrate proficient levels of performance related to collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and communication
- 100% of FCPS graduates demonstrate proficient levels of reading and math achievement at 2 or 4 year colleges, or demonstrate readiness within the workforce
