Frederick County Public Schools will be hosting a public information meeting on Tuesday, November 29 regarding the school division’s 12th elementary school that will be built in Snowden Bridge with an anticipated opening in the fall of 2018. The meeting, which will begin at 6:30 p.m., will be held in the cafeteria at Stonewall Elementary School.
During the meeting, representatives from the school division as well as Grimm and Parker, the architectural firm designing the school, will provide an overview of the project, seek community input on the school’s design and respond to questions. The attendance zone for the new school will not be discussed at the meeting. The rezoning process is currently scheduled to begin in the fall of 2017 and the community will be given opportunities to provide input on the attendance zone for the new school at that time.
