2018 School Quality and Perceptions Survey Results

June 14, 2018

In the spring of 2018, Frederick County Public Schools worked with independent research and communications firm K12 Insight to conduct a School Quality and Perceptions Survey. The goal of the survey was to help the school division better understand areas of strength and areas in which improvements can be made. The survey questions addressed educational quality, family involvement, student support, safety and behavior, school leadership and other critical topics.

More than 9,800 students, parents/guardians and school-based staff completed the survey and provided valuable information. The results are being used by school division leaders as well as principals and school improvement teams as they plan for the upcoming school year and beyond.

The results from the 2018 School Quality and Perceptions Survey can be secured by contacting the principal of each school. Divisionwide results can be secured by contacting the Frederick County Public Schools Policy and Communications Department at 540-662-3888.
